REPORTING SOMEBODY.

What it does, what it does not do, and what the other person is told. Which is nothing.

How

Open the conversation and use the report control inside it. Write what happened in your own words — the more specific, the more use it is.

Reporting is per conversation. There is no way to report a profile you have not spoken to, or a photograph, and we would rather tell you that than let you look for a control that is not there. Most listings here are run by the house rather than by an account the woman signs into, so on those she has no way to report or block anybody herself — which is a reason to report anything you see, rather than assuming she has.

You can quote a number in a report

Chat refuses digits — a report does not. If somebody sent you a phone number, an address or a handle, write it down exactly. The filter stands down here on purpose, because a report is evidence for the house rather than a message to the other person.

They are never told

The person you report cannot see the report, cannot see that a report exists, and is not notified. Telling somebody they have been reported before anybody has looked is how a report turns into retaliation.

If you would rather they simply stopped, block them — see below. You can do both.

What happens next

The report is recorded, the message you pointed at is marked, and it stays counted for the house until somebody closes it. A person reads it, decides, and the decision is recorded with their name against it.

What we will not tell you is when. Nobody is on duty around the clock here and no automatic alert goes anywhere, so any number we printed would be a number we could not keep. You will not always hear back — but every report is kept, and stays on the house’s list until it is dealt with.

Blocking

Either person can stop a conversation outright. Neither of you can send after that, and the person you blocked can never lift it — a block the blocked person could undo would be worse than none, because you believed it held. The house can lift one; nobody else can.

Blocking is not reporting. If somebody behaved badly, block them and report them, so the next person does not meet the same thing.

If it is urgent

Contact the police. This site has no emergency function of any kind and cannot reach anybody on your behalf. A report here goes into a queue a person reads; it does not ring a phone.
